And it gives me so much joy! I have been developing a talent for fabric art for over 26 years and have focused on learning how to alter gowns to fit women's unique bodies since 2018; it has been more rewarding than I could have ever imagined!
My own disappointing experiences with alterations on formal dresses and my own wedding gown truly fueled me with a desire to give women more power and a positive experience when they walk into my shop. I love helping women feel beautiful, confident, and joyful in their gowns. Through my process, I embrace conversation to find out what each client is hoping to achieve in alterations, educate my clients about the fit and structure of their gown, go over options for alterations, so they can make informed decisions, and feel comfortable from start to finish. Each woman has their own style, story, and dream for her special event. My job is to help you feel spectacular as we bring that dream to life.

I love celebrating with and educating my brides about the alterations process and possibilities, allowing them can make the best choices for their gown/fit.
I don't turn away complex projects. I love redesigning gowns, doing full resizes, making custom pieces, etc. Every dress should be unique to each bride.

I only take on 2 brides and 2 formal dresses per week, to make sure I can give 100% of my attention to your gown. A well rested seamstress can work much more efficiently, happily, and thoughtfully!
I feel like people make a judgement that alterations are going to be overpriced and impersonal. In my shop, I will spend any amount of time needed to help you feel comfortable in your gown; being as creative and engineering as possible to find a solution to their concerns. I do expect my clients to respect my time, as I respect theirs. I will never short change my clients. I will give every ounce of my energy, hard work, and love to each project. Not everyone with a sewing machine can do what I do, and care the way I care.
Expertly fitting a gown takes years of experience, knowledge, and the desire to continue learning new techniques.
